WaveRider

The WaveRider uses electrodes to read the body's biological signals, including real-time spectral analysis of brainwaves, skin conductance (GSR), and heart rate. It digitizes the analogue information and sends it to any PC where the WaveWare 1.03 software processes and displays it in Windows. In addition to displaying the electrical activity of the brain as bar graphs, spectrographs, etc., the WaveRider can trigger musical displays via a sound card or a MIDI card connected to an external synthesizer.

When used with the XCELR8R II, the WaveRider can show when the entrainment signals have "driven" brain wave activity into predetermined states of awareness. Again, each state has characteristics and abilities uniquely suited to certain operations, e.g. learning, rest, creativity, linear/goal-oriented thinking, verbal output, etc..

The software, WaveWare 1.0, runs in Microsoft Windows and has a high degree of flexibility and user-friendliness. The WaveRider has applications in multimedia productions, music, biofeedback, relaxation, creativity, audience reaction, and market research.

BINAURAL BEAT BIOFEEDBACK FROM EEG (for the SoundBlaster 16)

Here's an interesting application for the WaveRider that produces binaural signals that pace and lead the user's average EEG. It helps lead the EEG lower into a meditative state. This config file only works with the SoundBlaster AWE32.
An interesting testimonial letter from Soden about the WaveRider
